A special thanks goes to St John Ambulance Brigade, Sedbergh Division, the Air Ambulace Crew and everybody else who ensured Tommy got the best possible care.

Just a quick message from Tommy Anderson to say that I'm in one piece. We've had a few people phoning up and asking how I am and I thought the best way to let people know was with the web site.

I took off, off line and too hard from that jump at the back of the track. When I came to land the bike was twisting, so (foolishly) I put my foot down. The impact sent a shock all the way up my spine. Had several x-rays at hospital and there's nothing broken thankfully.

Thanks to all who were concerned and hope I didn't hold up the racing too much.

Tommy Anderson (55).
